They forgot the part about when you pirate your movie often looks like ass and the voices don't line up!

Or... it was some douche holding a hand-cam in the theater :)

But yea, i get the point. It's funny how I've always thought "I wish they made a DVD player that could skip all this crap....." when in fact the problem is....well.... just the crap :)

i don't actually do this except for movies i own and like to watch alot...but when you rip straight from the DVD, you end up with a nice DVD-quality MPG (big filesize...but who cares about that?)
Q: How many Yendi does it take to sharpen a sword?

it also seems like some DVD players can skip parts that other DVD players can't.

the DVD player in my truck seems like it can skip anything. it has a cool setting: skip menus and immediately begin playing the main movie. that's real nice b/c you can put the discs in from the front seat and the movie starts playing so the rugrats can shut up!
